Your privacy choices
This page is for people in the United States, including California residents, and explains the choices you have under US state privacy laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). Our full privacy notice and each game’s own notice explain the rest.
The short version
- We don’t sell your personal information. We don’t sell or rent personal data to anyone.
- Our apps and games don’t send personal data to us. Your progress stays on your iPhone and, if iCloud is on, in your own iCloud account.
- Ads are the one exception. Our free games show ads, and our advertising partners collect some data from your device to show and measure them.
- You can opt out of personalised ads in a few taps, and an Ad-Free purchase stops ads altogether.
Ads and “sharing”
Under some US state laws, letting an advertising partner use data about your activity to show you personalised ads is called “sharing” for cross-context behavioural advertising. Our free games work this way unless you opt out. The advertising partner (for example, Google AdMob in Bloc Drop) collects the data directly from your device, acts as a separate controller, and handles it under its own privacy policy. North Adapt does not receive that data.
The data our advertising partners may collect includes device and app information, your approximate location from your IP address, how you interact with ads and, only if you allow tracking, your device’s advertising identifier. Each game’s privacy notice gives the details.
How to opt out
- Turn off tracking on your iPhone. Go to Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking and switch off the game, or choose “Ask App Not to Track” when the game asks. Your advertising identifier is then not shared, and ads are not personalised.
- Use the game’s privacy choices, where shown. Where a game asks for your consent to ads, such as in the UK and Europe, you can change your choice at any time in the game’s Settings › Your privacy choices.
- Remove ads completely. Buy Ad-Free in the game. After that no ads are shown and our advertising partners no longer receive data from your device.
Our website doesn’t use cookies or advertising trackers, so there is nothing to opt out of on northadapt.com. See our cookie policy.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know what personal information a business has about you, to ask for it to be deleted or corrected, to opt out of its sale or sharing, and to not be treated worse for using these rights. We will not treat you differently for making a request.
The personal information North Adapt itself holds is limited to messages you send us, such as support emails and job applications. We don’t hold your game progress or any account for you.
How to make a request
Email privacy@northadapt.com with “Privacy request” in the subject line, tell us what you would like us to do and which game or page it is about. We may ask you for a little information to check it is you. You can also use an authorised agent to make a request for you. We aim to reply within 45 days.
Data that our advertising partners collect is held by them, not by us, so requests to see or delete it go to them. If you contact us, we will help you reach the right partner.
Children
Our apps and games are designed to be suitable for people of all ages. We don’t knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16, and we don’t use personalised ads for players we know to be children.
